What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment for the eyebrows that creates a thicker, fuller appearance.
How is it done?
Using a specialized, handheld tool, hair strokes are gently etched into the skin by implanting color pigment. This creates the appearance of natural looking fullness to the brow.
Are there any restrictions prior to treatment?
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any blood thinning medications at least 24 hours before.
Is it painful?
There is a minimal amount of discomfort but a topical anesthetic is utilized to numb the area throughout treatment.
How will I look after the treatment?
There will be a little bit of redness and slight swelling, but that goes away rather quickly.
How long does it take to heal?
About 4-6 weeks.
How long does it last?
Depending on skin type, Microblading can last six months to three years.
Who is not a candidate?
People with the following are not candidates for the treatment:
• Pregnant or nursing
• Undergoing chemotherapy
• Diabetes- Type I & II
Is there an age restriction?
Must be 18 years or older.
Can men have Microblading as well?
Yes. Men, just like women, lose definition in the eyebrow over time, and just like women, the brow can become much thinner.
